So. Is It?

I think i have a canker sore. But I'm not sure becuase.. well, can you get them on the roof of your mouth?

Serious. I want someone. Anyone to answer this.

The big problem with whatever is on the roof of my mouth is that it is right behind my front teeth. Which are, of course, my chewing teeth now.

LMAO did that ever sound redneck!

Anyway. I have complete faith that in a few weeks time, when my gums are healed (and its going way better then last time) That I will be able to chew small bites on the right side becuase the dentist left me one lonely molar.

Until then, I have to stick to soft foods so I don't have to chew, because really, that thing in my mouth? The canker or whatever it is? It hurts!

Oh And

Did I forget to mention that I have to head to the dentist myself in less than two hours?

'cus I do.

Three teeth out this time.

Sigh.

Sure hope it goes better then the last time!

I'm pretty sure, but not totally sure that after this afternoon me and solid foods will be saying good bye to each other for a while. I guess it all depends on how well I can chew with my front teeth!

As it is right now, I had an awesome lunch, toasted Cucumber on Mayo sandwich, and I am drinking coffee like it is going to be banned after 2 pm. (you can't drink coffee (or anything else that is hot) for 24 hours after an extraction)

Heck! The way I drink coffee on a normal day I am surprised no one has suggested I under go an addiction treatment!

I do remember two weeks ago, after my last extraction, how hard it was to not be able to drink coffee while watching (and smelling) my husband drink it!

Sigh.

Life goes on I suppose.

But I still hate the dentist! OK. No. I love my dentist, I just hate the stuff she does to me!

LMAO

Whew

My funk? It seems to have left me at the same time the doctor was delivering Stupermans diagnosis.

If you want to read more on that , head over to BPR.

I always hate when I get into a funk. Sometimes I know what causes it and other times, life is so awesome that I feel guilty for being sad which in turn makes me even more sad!

I've thought about the fact it may be some form of depression, but I cannot see myself as a depressed person. The funks come and go, yes, but they are gone more than they are here, that's for sure.

I for sure would not want to take pills that would alter my mood, I am definitely not "sick" enough to put drugs into my body like that!

Anyway. With the whole Stuperman issues taken care of I can put the rest of me twoards Rainbow Man and his dental issues!

Feel free to wish me luck on that!

In A Funk

Wow.

Things sure do suck. If it isn't one thing, it;s another, right?

Wrong. I have never had this before, this deadening sense of failure, the dread of the next minute and what will happen then!

First Stuperman gets sick and I won't know whats with that till tomorrow. Thats a lot of time to worry. Then we had Rainbow Mans dentist appointment - and really? I;m not getting into that anything soon.

And then. Then RM's spacer has a loose ire thing that is cutting his cheek, meaning we have to go back to the dentist. Joy.

Then, while I was thinking my next dental appointment was Friday the 7th, RM and The husband bring me the news that my dentist appointment is tomorrow!

I don't have time for this crud!

I have Stuperman's doctors appointment tomorrow morning. In the AM part of the morning. In the Am part of the morning when I like to still be in my toasty warm bed sleeping.

Rush Rush! Rush! home from the doctors, eat my last solid food for months, and BAM! Into the dentist's chair.

And to top it off I have a craving, a physical make me shiver - short of breath craving for a new tattoo!

SIGH.

It's official:

I'm a mom.

It's true. I can tell this in two ways.

Number one, I have stretch marks all over. And I mean all over if you get my drift.

The second reason is that I am more nervous today for Rainbow Man's dental appointment than I have ever been fore my own.

And thats saying a lot.

Every time I look at the clock I have to consciously slow my breathing to prevent yet another panic attack from brewing.

My heart has been racing all day long, what with the whole Stuperman Issue and now, EEK. an hour and a quarter till RM goes in.

I swear to god right now I can feel myself breathing, I know I am breathing but it feels like I am suffocating! I need to step back for a minute before I finish this post!

OK I took the kids for a walk around the block. Fresh air, nice breeze, helps to clear my mind. Who am I trying to kid here?

I need to end this and go do something that will keep my mind busy. Something so that I calm down. Something that will let me have hope that I can be strong enough not to fall to pieces myself when if he falls to pieces.

Opps - well it's too late now!

I just took an antihistamine to counteract the baseball sized ( no exaggeration) hive growing on my writs. But I'm also on antibiotics.

The pharmacist told me tat pain medication was OK to mix with the antibiotics, but I never thought to ask him about my allergy meds.

What do you think? Will I wake up dead in the morning?

What On Earth

In August, My BFF had a ninety five dollar rent increase. Now, barely a month later, they have been told there will be an additional 200 plus dollar increase!

This is horrible!

I know that right now real estate is having a tough run of it, but the housing problems are getting ridiculous!

I have some friends who have been searching for a place to live for six months and every time they call, they find out there is a waiting list!

So what are they supposed to do? For kiss, the increase is annoying butno real hardship, for my sister, who lives in the same building it means she HAS to move. But where can she move when nothing is available? Should she invest in a fridge box and live under a bridge?

Something has to be done!

*giggle*

I know that technically this photo should have been deleted, but I love it! the angle, the blurriness, everything! I want to get it framed and hang the picture frame at an angle too!
Rainbow Man has spent a lot of time playing with the new pentax camera. Here is a picture he took of Tiggers' Jelly Bean toes!

And what day is complete with out a zoomed in close up of the chalk box? I'm amused at this photo becuase the chalks all seem so fat! They are just skinny regular sized chalk, but this far zoomed in they look like big ol' sidewalk chalks! Rainbow man seems to have a flare for angles, hey?
A bit out of focus, maybe, but Rainbow Man loves his brother, while his brother loves his puppy. This is a must keep shot!
And this is one of my favorites! Me and Stuperman. I have very very few photos of me and the boys becuase I am always the one behind the camera, now that Rainbow Man is stealing my camera right left and center, I am sure to get at least a few great shots of me and my boys!

Oye My aching Skin!

I need some new Skin care products, and any suggestions will be appriciated.

My forehead is greasy but my cheeks are really really really REALLY dry. But if I use something for the greasy forehead, my cheeks get so dry they crack and bleed, and if I use something on my cheeks, my forehead gets worse!

To top it all off, I am allergic to about 99% of the skin care products out there.

Please help!

Guess What!

Last night on BPR I had mentioned that I needed to go into the city to pick up a few things.

Not one person asked what those things were.

We had to stop the Spots project becuase we ran out of tape!

[insert startled gasps here]

I know! How could we be so poorly prepared?

To rectify that we bought enough tape to last us well into the year 2025.

We have half a wall of spots to paint, and then we are at the mercy of the snail mail postal personal to get the last and in my opinion, most important piece to finish off the room!

And then? More pictures that you can shake a stick at!
