Kids Don't Read Fine Print

Commercials tick me off. Rainbow Man is turning eight in a little over two weeks so he has been watching commercials with a consumerist eye the last month or six. One of the things he has been drooling over is a set of RC airplanes. What he does not understand is the teeny tiny fine print at the bottom of the screen says that it runs for SIX minutes on a charge. SIX! It does not mention what the time line is for how long it takes to charge it, but six minutes is absolutly ridiculous!

Needless to say, it is NOT one of the gifts we bought him!

Six minutes? Sheesh! That's not even long enough to let the kids learn to crash land the durned things. I've heard of battery sucking toys before, but that is taking it to the extreme.

I know, its outrageous that the company would allow it into production with that kind of a charge life!
